West Shore
Description
The West Shore of Lake Tahoe is made up of several small communities located along the lake. Sunnyside is popular for its access to the ski resorts in the winter and the easy access to the lake in the summer. Homewood is a favorite because of its beautiful ski resort that has amazing views of Lake Tahoe. Other nearby areas on the West Shore include the gated community of Fleur du Lac, Tahoe Park, Alpine Peaks and Talmont Estates. Another draw to homes on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe is the bouys and piers offered with some properties as well as access to a private Marina.

Squaw Valley USA or Olympic Valley was the home of the 1960 Olympics and has one of the best ski mountains around. Many homes have amazing views of the mountain and golf course.
The Village at Squaw is quite an exciting place with restaurants, shops, and condos. Some condos have close access to the ski hill with ski-in and ski-out capabilities.
