Trails & Vistas is delighted to close out the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Showcase Series with the World Concert – a Peace Project of Truckee Tahoe this Saturday, September 7th. The event will take place at the beautiful Sand Harbor Outdoor Amphitheater overlooking the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe.
Enjoy extraordinary first-class entertainment in the exceptional setting of Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe this weekend. Performers celebrate music and dance from around the world while attendees relax with their toes in the sand and bask in a perfect sunset. The concert will be one to remember featuring award-winning musicians, areal silk dance, and performance art.
Enjoy Mumbo Gumbo – one of California’s top groups – whose “genre-bending Americana” combines a big musical stew of soul, zydeco, folk, blues, rock, Cajun, and country into a uniquely festive, roots-music sound.
The concert will start with a sonic journey from the band Seffarine – a gorgeous intersection of Spanish flamenco, Persian classical and American jazz spiced with fiery instrumentation, vocals, and flamenco dance!
Add in modern world guitar, blazing rhythms and romantic melodies with Incendio, poet Jahan Khalighi, performance painter Susie Alexander, and Baltimore powerhouse vocalist Davon Fleming from NBC’s “The Voice” – and this World Concert is sure to be a night to remember!
