Harlem Globetrotters World Tour at the Reno Events Center
Committed to bringing fans the best experience and most electrifying athletes on the planet, the Harlem Globetrotters will give their fans a chance to get closer than ever to the action and team’s stars with their brand-new Fan Powered World Tour. At each Globetrotters game, there will be over 20 opportunities before, during and after each event where fans will get a chance to directly interact with the team’s stars.
Reno Pop Culture Con is a 3-day, fan-focused extravaganza. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet comics artists and writers, book authors, and celebrity guests, shop for collectibles, attend panels and programming, or visit the Pop Culture Classroom’s Kids’ Lab.
The Backcountry Film Festival is back, brought to you by Tahoe Mountain Sports, Tahoe Backcountry Alliance, and Alibi Ale House! This festival is produced each year by Winter Wildlands Alliance as a celebration of the human-powered experience and a gathering place for the backcountry snowsports community.

Downtown Holiday Festival & Bud Fish Tree Lighting
Celebrate the Holidays in Historic Downtown Truckee! For more than 35 years, the Truckee Downtown Merchants Association and Truckee Rotary have collaborated to share in honoring Truckee’s community. Small trees are trimmed by 600+ local elementary students, Santa arrives and hot cocoa is provided by Truckee Rotary. The night culminates in the lighting of the traditional Bud Fish Tree Lighting Ceremony in remembrance of this beloved Truckee community member.

Join the Tahoe Donner community at the Lodge Restaurant & Pub as they light up the tree and kick off the holiday season. This annual event features a surprise appearance by Santa himself. Give back to the community by bringing canned items for the Project MANA food drive. The Lodge also has a TOYS for TOTS box – for your donation of new, unwrapped toys for kids in need.
Holiday activities include storytelling by Mrs. Claus, crafts, caroling by Truckee Tahoe Community Choir, pictures with Santa and an ugly holiday sweater contest. Plus hot cocoa, s’mores and great raffle prizes!
