Attention all community artists! The Tahoe Fund and the USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit are teaming up for an exciting new project and they want YOU to be a part of it.

They are looking for talented artists from the community to paint murals inside three popular restroom facilities in the Tahoe Basin. These murals will not only beautify the facilities but also help prevent vandalism and promote a sense of pride and respect for the Tahoe area.

Taking inspiration from a successful project in Idaho, the murals will showcase the natural beauty of Tahoe including its plants, animals, and landscapes. This is a unique opportunity to leave your mark on a beloved community space and contribute to the conservation efforts in the area.

If you are interested in participating, you can apply on the Tahoe Fund website or by clicking the link provided. The deadline for proposals is Friday, March 29, 2024. Paint for the murals will be provided by Kelly Brothers Painting, so all you need to bring is your creativity and passion for Tahoe.

Don’t miss out on this chance to make a lasting impact on the Tahoe community. Apply now and be a part of this exciting project!
