Truckee-Donner Recreation And Park District

Set your children up for an epic Tahoe summer that is brimming with adventure, fun, and learning. Each day is filled with wondrous activities such as whitewater rafting,  visiting a trampoline park, testing their mettle in a ropes course, or just good ole fashioned hiking. Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District offers summer camps for all ages, interests and abilities.

Headwaters Science Institute

Give your child the opportunity to explore nature this summer. Their hands-on science camps are designed for children to have fun while exploring the unique ecology of the area. Headwaters strives to help kids not only understand how to do research but to access the confidence to complete research independently and to ask questions about the natural world.
